Description: 5100-foot elevation. 14 campsites near China Hat, a tall (6573-ft elevation), cone-shaped formation. Trailhead access from the campground to the East Fort Rock OHV Trail System, which extends through Christmas Valley. The trails are also open to mountain bikes, horses, & hikers. Location: From Bend, go about 30 miles south on US 97, 26 miles east on Forest Road 22, then six miles north on FR 18. Season: April - November. Fee: no. Reservations: NO.
