Description: 4450-foot elevation. 21 campsites where Snow Creek & the Deschutes River flow into Crane Prairie Reservoir. Fishing is excellent for big, fat, rainbow trout, as well as brook trout, mountain whitefish, kokanee salmon, largemouth bass, black crappie & bluegill . Watch for the osprey, bald eagles, & waterfowl who frequent the area. Location: From Bend, go about 45 miles south on Forest Road 46 (Cascade Lakes Highway), 0.5 mile east on FR 40, then two miles south on FR 4000-970. Season: May - October. Reservations: NO.
