| Description: 4350-foot elevation. 17 campsites on the western arm of Wickiup Reservoir. Fishing in the reservoir is excellent for enormous brown trout, as well as rainbow & brook trout, kokanee & coho salmon, whitefish, & chub. Fish cleaning stations are available by the lake. Late in the summer, irrigation draw-downs can lower the level of the reservoir by about half, but the fishing stays pretty good. The wetlands near the campground are a great place for bird watching.
Location: From Bend, go about 56 miles southwest on County Road 46 (Cascade Lakes Highway).
