| Description: 4350-foot elevation. 28 campsites on Wickiup Reservoir. Fishing in the reservoir is excellent for enormous brown trout, as well as rainbow & brook trout, kokanee & coho salmon, whitefish, & chub. Fish cleaning stations are available by the lake. Late in the summer, irrigation draw-downs can lower the level of the reservoir by about half, but the fishing stays pretty good. The wetlands just north of the campground are a good place for bird watching.
Location: From Bend, go about 58 miles west & south on County Road 46 (Cascade Lakes Highway), then two miles east on Forest Road 44.
