Campground: South Campground
Description: 5000-foot elevation. 23 campsites on Hosmer Lake. Fishing for brook trout & Atlantic salmon is restricted to fly fishing only. A paved boat ramp is at South Campground. Hiking & horse trails are nearby, toward the north end of Hosmer Lake & around Elk Lake. Location: From Bend, go about 36 miles west on County Road 46 (Cascade Lakes Highway), then one mile east on Forest Road 4625. Season: May - October. Reservations: NO.
