| Description: 4350-foot elevation. eight campsites on Wickiup Reservoir. Fishing in the reservoir is excellent for enormous brown trout, as well as rainbow & brook trout, kokanee & coho salmon, whitefish, & chub. Late in the summer, irrigation draw-downs can lower the level of the reservoir by about half, but the fishing stays pretty good. The wetlands on the north & west shores of the reservoir are a great place for bird watching.
Location: From Bend, go about 27 miles south on US 97, 10.5 miles west on County Road 43, 3.5 miles south on Forest Road 4380, then three miles east on FR 4260.
