Campground: South Fork Campground, Rogue River National Forest
Description: 4000-foot elevation. six campsites, including two tent-only sites, on the South Fork of the Rogue River. A hiking & mountain biking trail follows the river, north almost to the forest boundary, & south to the Sky Lakes Wilderness. The river is open to angling April 22 - October 31. The limit is five trout per day, 8-inch minimum, except no limit on the size or number of brook trout taken. Location: From Butte Falls, go one mile east on County Road 821, nine miles north on County Road 992, then eight miles east on Forest Road 34. Season: May - September. Reservations: NO.
