Campground: Crescent Ranger District, Deschutes National Forest, Crescent Lake Campground

Description: 4850-foot elevation. 47 campsites on Crescent Lake. Fishing for kokanee salmon, lake trout, rainbow trout, brown trout, & mountain whitefish. Activities on the lake include sailing, windsurfing, swimming, & boating. A trailhead on FR 60 north of the campground accesses Faun Lake in the Diamond Peak Wilderness. In the winter, a sno-park just north of the campground offers parking for miles of trails groomed for cross-country skiers. Location: From Crescent, go about 12 miles west on County Road 61, 3.5 miles north on OR 58, then three miles west on Forest Road 60. Season: May - October. Reservations: NO.
