| Description: 4850-foot elevation. three group sites on Crescent Lake. Two sites can accomodate up to 40 people, & the third site can hold up to 30. The group picnic area, which has electricity in the cooking shelter, can accomodate up to 50 people. Fishing for kokanee salmon, lake trout, rainbow trout, brown trout, & mountain whitefish. Activities on the lake include sailing, windsurfing, swimming, & boating. A swimming beach is just north of the group campground. A boat ramp is at Crescent Lake campground. A trailhead on FR 60 north of the campground accesses Faun Lake in the Diamond Peak Wilderness. In the winter, the nearby sno-park offers parking for miles of trails groomed for cross-country skiers.
Location: From Crescent, go about 12 miles west on County Road 61, five miles northwest on OR 58, two miles west on Forest Road 60, then one miles south on Rd. 6005.
