| Description: 4850-foot elevation. One group site on Crescent Lake can accomodate up to 42 people, with up to either 12 cars or six RV`s (or any combination thereof, with two cars= one RV). No overnight camping within 100 feet of waters edge. Fishing for kokanee salmon, lake trout, rainbow trout, brown trout, & mountain whitefish. A long trail from north of the campground parallels Whitefish Creek & Trapper Creek all the way north through the Oregon Cascades Recreation Area to Odell Lake. Other trailheads into the roadless recreation area can be found south of the campground on FR 60. Over 100 miles of trail altogether are accessible from this area.
Activities on the lake include sailing, windsurfing, swimming, & boating. Groups must bring one chemical toilet for every 20 people in the group, unless all group members are in self-containted RVs.
Location: From Crescent, go about 12 miles west on County Road 61, 3.5 miles north on OR 58, then 7.5 miles west on Forest Road 60.
