Description: 3600-foot elevation. seven campsites on Clear Creek. Fishing in the creek for rainbow trout. A trail near the campground crosses through a camas prairie, a once-common ecological zone where indigenous people once went to harvest the edible camas roots. Location: From Maupin, go about 25 miles west on County Road 216, then three miles northwest on Forest Road 2130. Season: May 28 - October 30. Fee: Northwest Forest Pass required. Reservations: NO. Available: Fishing Hiking/Backpacking RV Sites Restrooms. Notes: 16-foot maximum RV length.
