Description: 4000-foot elevation. three campsites on the border of the Badger Creek Wilderness. Trailhead access to the wilderness; trail leads south along Fret Creek to Oval Lake then branches, heading south to the Badger Creek trail, west to Lookout Mountain, & east to Flag Point & beyond. Location: From Dufur, take Forest Road 44 west about 18 miles, then two miles south on FR 4420 & two miles south on FR 2730. Season: May 15 - October 30. Fee: Northwest Forest Pass required. Reservations: NO. Available: Hiking/Backpacking Horseback Riding Hunting Camping Wildlife Viewing RV Sites Restrooms. Notes: 16-foot maximum RV length.
