| Description: 4000-foot elevation. 16 campsites in a dense mixed-conifer forest on the Imnaha Wild & Scenic River. Fishing for steelhead January one - April 15 & September one - December 31, but only adipose-clipped fish may be kept. Other activities in the area include hunting for big game, packing into the Eagle Cap Wilderness, day hiking, & snowmobiling. Wildlife common along the Imnaha includes bighorn sheep, mule deer, elk, & black bear. Wilderness trailhead access upriver, at Indian Crossing. Just downstream from the campground is an interesting fish weir.
Location: From Enterprise, go 42 miles southeast on the Hells Canyon Scenic Byway (OR 82, OR 350, & Forest Road 39).
