| Description: 4400-foot elevation. ten tent sites & three mixed-use campsites in this popular campground near the Wild & Scenic Imnaha River. Fishing for steelhead January one - April 15 & September one - December 31, but only adipose-clipped fish may be kept. Other activities in the area include hunting for big game, packing into the Eagle Cap Wilderness, day hiking, & snowmobiling. Wildlife common along the Imnaha includes bighorn sheep, mule deer, elk, & black bear. Wilderness trailhead access upriver, at Indian Crossing.
Location: From Enterprise, go 42 miles southeast on the Hells Canyon Scenic Byway, then nine miles west on Forest Road 3960.
Season: May - October.
