| Description: 1100-foot elevation. 15 campsites, including four double sites, along the wild & scenic North Umpqua River. Fly fishing for steelhead in the river, whitewater rafting, & hiking on the North Umpqua National Recreation Trail. Fall Creek Falls & Job`s Garden Geological Area are both within three miles of the campground. This site is a major launching point for boaters running the rapids down to Susan Creek.
This river is an important anadromous fish hatchery. Be careful about wading in the river & inadvertently stepping on fish spawning gravel from September - June. Please read the Oregon Sportfishing Regulations for specific restrictions on fishing the North Umpqua River.
Location: From Roseburg, go 35 miles east on OR 138.
Season: May 20 - October 15.

Notes: A 5-mile section upstream of Bogus Creek Campground is closed to boating between July 15 & October 31 to minimize conflicts with anglers.
