| Description: 1189-foot elevation. seven campsites along the wild & scenic North Umpqua River. Fly fishing for steelhead & whitewater rafting in the river. Hiking on the North Umpqua National Recreation Trail & along nearby Canton Creek.
This river is an important anadromous fish hatchery. Be careful about wading in the river & inadvertently stepping on fish spawning gravel from September - June. Please read the Oregon Sportfishing Regulations for specific restrictions on fishing the North Umpqua River.
Location: From Roseburg, go 40 miles east on OR 138.
Season: May one - October 31.
