Circle "L" Campground is just upstream of the port town of Gold Beach, in Southwest Oregon.
24 sites on 40 acres (suitable for RVs or tents), sharing nearly ¾ of a mile of easily accessible river frontage. Each site has a fire ring, picnic table, & outstanding river view. Water & sanitary facilities are available within the campground; two full-service year-round RV sites are available for longer stays.
Day rate for picnicking & fishing is available.
Tipi rental available for camping out.
Circle "L" Campground is just one mile downstream from the designated Wild & Scenic section. Its location (which includes Kimball & Gillespie riffles) is considered one of the best fly fishing & angling spots on the entire Rogue River.
Hiking trails wind through old-growth rainforests & past mountain streams. Nearby Gold Beach offers shopping, services, & restaurants, & the Pacific Coast, with beachcombing, whale watching & sport fishing. You can also kayak, raft or swim in the Rogue. |
