| Description: 4000-foot elevation. Bull Prairie campground has 28 campsites by large lake. Fishing & motor boating permitted in the lake. A 1.14 mile accessible nature trail can be explored from the campground.
ATV riding & mountain biking in the nearby West End OHV Area. Approximately 91,136 acres of trail are open to Class I & III ATV`s. Along the way, you can see remnants of a fire lookout on the top of Ant Hill as well as great views into Bologna Basin & the breaks of the John Day. The area is open year round to off-highway vehicle travel on the many unused or low standard roads.
Location: From Heppner, go 40 miles south on OR 207, then three miles east on Forest Road 2039.
