Campground: Snow Mountain Ranger District, Ochoco National Forest, Emigrant Campground
Description: 5100-foot elevation. seven campsites along Emigrant Creek among mature pines. The creek provides good fly fishing in spring & early summer. This campground is generally not crowded & has lots of peace & quiet. Garbage service is available & the campground has a barrier free toilet. Location: From Burns, go north on County Road 127 to Forest Road #43, junction for Allison Guard Station, Delintment lake, & Paulina. Turn left on Forest Road #43. Travel 9.75 miles, turn left on Forest Road #4340 to Forest Road #4340-050. Travel this road into the campground. Season: May 15 - September 15. Reservations: NO.
