Description: 5000-foot elevation. six campsites near Emigrant Creek among mature pines. The creek provides good fly fishing in spring & early summer. This campground is generally not crowded & has lots of peace & quiet. Activities available include hiking, stream fishing, & wildlife viewing. Location: North of Burns on County Road 127 to Forest Road #43, junction for Allison Guard Station, Delintment lake, & Paulina. Turn left on Forest Road #43. Travel eight miles to Forest Road #4300-050. Follow signs to the campground. Season: May 15 - September 15. Reservations: NO. Available: Fishing Picnicking Hiking/Backpacking Camping Wildlife Viewing RV Sites Restrooms.
