| Description: 4150-foot elevation. eight campsites on the north shore of Lemolo Lake, in a dense ponderosa pine forest. Fishing for kokanee salmon, brook, brown, & rainbow trout. The lake is deep enough for waterskiing. Hiking trails nearby lead to Lemolo Falls, the North Umpqua River National Recreation Trail, & the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail.
Umpqua hot springs is about nine miles west of the campground. The H2O is about 105º - 117º, with a primitive shelter over the pool. The pool does get crowded on weekends, & bathing suits are recommended. No camping at the hot springs.
In the winter, cross-country skiers enjoy several easy, groomed trails from the lake. Most of these trails generally follow existing Forest Service roads. A sno-park permit is required to park at the trailhead (at Lemolo Resort) in the winter.
Location: From Roseburg, go 72 miles east on OR 138, 5.5 miles north on Forest Road 2610, then east on FR 2612.
