Campground: Mount Ashland Campground
Description: 6600-foot elevation. one campsite. In the summer, there is hiking on the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail, which crosses the southern flanks of Mount Ashland. In the winter, there is nordic skiing to the Grouse Gap shelter or downhill skiing at Mount Ashland Ski Area. Location: From Ashland, go nine miles south on I-5, take exit 5, & go west about ten miles on County Road 1151 (Ashland Ski Road). Season: May seven - November 15. Fee: no; voluntary $3 donation. Reservations: NO.
