| Description: 3000-foot elevation. 17 campsites & a picnic area on the Squaw Lakes. One campsite is wheelchair-accessible. A short nature trail goes around the two lakes, & a longer trail leads south to Summit Lake. The Summit Lake trail is open to mountain bikes, dirt bikes, hikers, & horses. Swimming in the lakes, & fishing for rainbow & cutthroat trout. No motorized boating, but small craft like canoes are permitted on the lake.
Location: From Jacksonville, go seven miles south on OR 238, then 14 miles south on Upper Applegate Road, then 8.5 east on Forest Road 1075.
