| Description: 2000-foot elevation. 14 campsites on Applegate Reservoir. Fishing in the streams above the lakes, & also in the reservoir. Please see Oregon sportfishing regulations for restrictions on fishing the Applegate basin. Trailhead for a 7-mile trail, which circles around Collins Mountain, passing several old mines, an abandoned miner`s cabin, & a Sasquatch trap. The trail is open to mountain bikers, hikers, & horse riders.
Location: From Jacksonville, go seven miles south on OR 238, then 19 miles south on Upper Applegate Road.
