Campground: Spool Cart Campground
Description: 3500-foot elevation. 16 campsites on the Grande Ronde River. Fishing in the river for rainbow trout & adipose-clipped steelhead in season. Stock tanks are available for campers who are bringing horses into the Blue Mountains. Fishing access on the river is wheelchair-accessible. Location: From La Grande, go 27 miles southwest on I-84, OR 244, & Forest Road 51. Season: May - October. Reservations: NO.
