| Description: 3500-foot elevation. 14 campsites, including nine tent-only sites on Spring Creek. Fishing in the creek; a nature trail in the campground describes the area ecology. This campground is designed to accomodate campers with horses, & so has stock facilities & water. Area trails are also open for mountain biking, hiking, & ATV use. In the winter, this is a popular snow sports area, with Nordic ski & snowmobile trails from here & from nearby Blue Mountain Crossing.
Location: From La Grande, go 14 miles northwest on I-84 to exit# 248, then south on Forest Road 21.
