| Description: 4,800-foot elevation. 50 campsites in two campgrounds on in a grove of ponderosa pines on the Gerber Reservoir. A concrete boat ramp offers boaters easy access to the water; fishing for trout. Bald eagles & great blue herons also fish the waters here, & nest around the shoreline. Other facilities include fish cleaning stations, a dock, & a gravel boat ramp for canoeists.
Away from the reservoir, dispersed camping is permitted on surrounding BLM & national forest lands. Other area lakes offer undeveloped fishing, & hunting for deer, antelope, & small game.
Location: From Klamath Falls, go 17 miles east on OR 140, seven miles southeast on OR 70, 11 miles southeast on East Langell Valley Road, then eight miles north on Gerber Road.
Season: late May - mid-September.
