Campground: Middle Fork Ranger District, Blue Pool Campground
Description: 1900-foot elevation. 25 campsites in an old growth forest on Salt Creek. Fishing & swimming in the creek.The picnic area was built by the CCC, & also includes a (newer) volleyball court. McCredie Hot Springs (163ºF) is just east of the campground. Currently, the springs are undeveloped, but caution should be exercised when using these extremely hot springs. These are popular, particularly in the winter. Location: From Oakridge, go nine miles east on OR 58. Season: May - September. Reservations: NO. Available: Fishing Picnicking Water Sports Camping Drinking Water RV sites Restrooms. Notes: 20-foot maximum RV length.
