Campground: Middle Fork Ranger District, Willamette National Forest, Campers Flat Campground

Description: 2000-foot elevation. five campsites on the Middle Fork Willamette River. Fishing is good for rainbow or cutthroat trout. A trailhead for a popular mountain bike trail to Young`s Rock is across FR 21 from the campground. An interpretive sign in the campground explains the significance & history of the Central Military Wagon Road, which ran through the area. Location: From Oakridge, go two miles east on OR 58, 0.5 mile east on to Kitson Springs Road, & 19 miles south on Forest Road 21 (Diamond Drive). Season: April - October. Reservations: NO. Available: Biking Fishing Picnicking Hiking/Backpacking Scenic Driving RV Sites Exhibits Drinking Water Restrooms. Notes: 18-foot maximum RV length.
