Description: 3100-foot elevation. 35 campsites on Clear Lake. Fishing & non-motorized boating on the lake. The McKenzie River National Recreation Trail follows the shore of Clear Lake, passes through the campground, then continues south along the river all the way to the McKenzie Ranger Station. The campground is just below one of the massive lava flows from Mount Washington. In the winter, a sno-park across the lake from the campground (on OR 126) offers groomed trails. Location: From Eugene, go 68 miles east on OR 126, then turn right onto the access road for the campground. Season: May - October Available: Fishing Hiking/Backpacking Scenic Driving Boating (Non-motorized) Winter Sports Drinking Water Restrooms Boat Ramp RV Sites Exhibits. Notes: 30-foot maximum RV length. Full resort facilities at nearby Clear Lake Resort. $20/ double campsites with two vehicles.
