Description: 2100-foot elevation. 30 campsites near the Breitenbush River. Fishing in the river, with accessible fishing access. Trailhead for the South Breitenbush Gorge National Recreation Trail is three miles east of the campground, as are the Breitenbush Hot Springs. The hot springs are not particularly conducive to soaking, being a scalding hot 198ºF. Location: From Detroit, go ten miles east on Forest Road 46 (Breitenbush Road). Season: May - September.
