| Description: 1600-foot elevation. 37 campsites with an adjacent group area on Detroit Reservoir. The reservoir has become a popular destination for all types of H2O sports including fishing, boating, swimming, H2O skiing, & personal watercraft (jet skis). A wheelchair-accessible nature trail offers information on the natural history of the area, & includes a tactile map for the visually-impaired. An ampitheater is also available for ranger-led or group programs.
Location: From Detroit, go 2.5 miles southeast on OR 22, then 0.5 mile west on Forest Road ten (Blowout Road).
