Campground: Marion Forks Campground
Description: 2500-foot elevation. 15 campsites on Marion Creek. Fishing in Marion Creek or the North Santiam River. A trail leads to Independence Rock from the campground. A state-run fish hatchery is just north of the campground. Wilderness access to the Mount Jefferson Wilderness from the end of Forest Road 2255; the trail leads to Marion Lake. Location: From Detroit, go 20 miles southeast on OR 22, then south on Forest Road 052. Season: April - September. Reservations: NO.
