Campground: Southshore Campground
Description: 1600-foot elevation. 30 campsites on Detroit Reservoir. The reservoir is a popular area for boating, fishing, waterskiing, swimming, & jet-skiing. A swimming area offers a safe & quiet place away from boaters & personal watercraft. A trailhead is between here & Cove Creek campground. The picnic area is accessible. Location: From Detroit, go 2.5 miles east on OR 22, then three miles west on Forest Road ten (Blowout Road). Season: April - September. Reservations: NO.
