Campground: Sacandaga Campground
Description: 2400-foot elevation. 17 campsites near the Middle Fork of the Willamette River. Two trails lead from the campground down to the river where fishing is good for rainbow or cutthroat trout. A trailhead for the Middle Fork Trail is nearby, as well as a short trail to a scenic overlook on the river bench. The historic Oregon Central Military Wagon Road passes through the area. Location: From Oakridge, go east two miles on OR 58, 0.5 miles on Kitson Springs Road, then 21 miles south on Forest Road 21. Season: July - October. Reservations: NO.
