Campground: Shadow Bay Campground
Description: 5400-foot elevation. 92 campsites on a large bay at the south end of Waldo Lake. Fishing, swimming, sailing, & canoeing in the lake. Trails from the campground lead along the shoreline, through the woods, & offer breathtaking views of the Three Sisters. Location: From Oakridge, go 25 miles east on OR 58, then 6.5 miles north on Forest Road 5897 (Waldo Lake Road). Season: July - September (or first heavy snow). Reservations: NO.
