| Description: The campground contains 58 RV sites with full hookup, two tent sites, six walk-in sites, & two yurts. The campground is on the east side of the highway, & trails lead to the long sandy beach. In the late spring, this is a good place for whale watching. One trail leads to the historic Heceta Head lighthouse. Other trails lead through forests & to wildlife viewing areas, but if you want to sit tight by the campfire, Roosevelt elk are known to frequent the campground.
