Description: A short trail trail leads to the spectacular Soda Creek Falls, & another leads you through a stand of mature Douglas firs along the South Santiam River. Wonderful fishing & swimming in the river. This was part of a military supply route in the 19th century, & wagon ruts are still visible. Other attractions include petrogylphs & a handpump which draws mineral water. Campground offers 25 semi-developed tent or RV sites & two group tent campsites. Location: From Sweet Home, go 14 miles east on US 20. Season: March - November; west picnic area open year round. Reservations: no.
