| Description: This postcard-perfect beach is wonderful for wildlife watching, either for the cormorants & pelicans whose rookery is offshore on Goat Island, for California sea lions & harbor seals, & for migrating gray whales (December - April). Marine gardens & rich tidepool life also make for fascinating field excursions. If you head out in the morning, you can often see sponges, umbrella crabs, solitary corals, & starfish.
Campground includes 34 RV sites with full hookup, 52 RV sites with electric hookup, 66 tent sites, a primitive hike-in or bike-in campground, & four yurts. Cable TV hookup availabe at some RV sites.
Location: In Brookings, at the north end of town.
