| Description: Humbug Mountain, a coastal landmark which towers 1756 feet above the H2O, dominates the scenery here. This area is part of Oregon`s "banana belt," enjoying warmer temperatures than the rest of the state, & so H2O sports enthusiasts tend to flock here for scuba diving & windsurfuing. A 5.5 mile loop trail leads to the crest of the mountain & back. The campground has 30 RV sites with electric hookup, 78 tent sites, & primitive walk-in campground. Evening interpretive programs in the summer.
Location: From Port Orford, go six miles south on US 101.
Season: year round.
