| Description: At the headwaters of the Wood River, you`ll find this tranquil park. The river flows from the mixed conifers of Sun Pass State Forest in the southern Cascade Range into open meadows & groves of quaking aspen. Fine fishing & canoeing in the river. The rustic campground is sited next to a spring-fed lagoon near the headwaters. A short trail connects the campground & the spring which constitutes the headwaters. A number of unimproved roads penetrate the adjacent state forest, & can be explored best on a mountain bike or ATV. Campground has ten primitive sites with no water.
Location: From Fort Klamath, go three miles north on OR-232.
