| Description: Two miles of sand dunes lie between the park & the ocean, & two inland lakes make a freshwater alternative for visitors. One lake is for non-mortorized boating & swimming, while the other is open to all kinds of H2O sports & boating. A trail through the dunes south of Cleawox Lake connects the park with Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. The forest around the campground offers great displays of rhododenrons & azaleas in the spring. In the late summer & early fall, head into the woods in search of delectable wild huckleberries & blackberries.
The campground offers 50 RV sites with full hookup, 91 RV sites with electric hookup, 237 tent sites, a primitive hiker/biker camp, six group tent areas, & ten yurts.
