| Description: Prineville Reservoir was formed on the Crooked River south of Prineville, in a canyon at the edge of the high sage country east of the Cascade Range. Fishing is good year round, for rainbow & cutthroat trout, small & largemouth bass, catfish, crappie, & crayfish. In the winter, catches of trout are more prevalent. Fly fishing opportunities are best along the Crooked River above Prineville Reservoir & downstream from Bowman Dam.
Facilities include 22 RV sites with full utility hookup, 23 RV sites with electric hookup, 25 tent sites, two rustic cabins & three deluxe programs. Jasper Point campground offers 29 primitive sites. Maximum campsite length is 40 feet.
Location: From Prineville, go 14 miles southeast on Juniper Canyon Road.
