| Description: At the foot of the towering Cascade Range, Silver Falls encompasses a verdant temperate rain forest punctuated with no fewer than ten splendid waterfalls. To admire all ten, take the 6-mile Canyon Trail down to Silver Creek where Douglas fir, hemlock, & cedar tower over ferns, mosses, & wildflowers. You can actually wak behind four of the ten falls, a delight after a hot hike! Because the canyon trail is narrow & bordered by sharp drop-offs in spots, bicycles, skate boards, in-line skates & pets are not allowed on the canyon trail.
Facilities include 54 RV sites with electric hookup, 51 tent sites, three tent-only group sites, two group RV sites; five horse camp sites with corrals, ten vacation cabins, & the Silver Falls Conference Center.
