| Description: South Beach State Park & the surrounding areas offer hiking, biking, fishing, crabbing, boating, windsurfing & beachcombing. Be sure to visit the nature center for more information on the park & on area attractions.
The campground has 238 RV sites with electric hookup, six primitive sites, a hiker-biker area, four group tent areas, & 16 yurts. Other amenities include a playground, a volleyball court, & a basketball court. Evening programs in the summer.
Good gem hunting for agates. Paved nature trail is wheelchair accessible. The South Jetty area South Jetty offers horse access to the beach, fishing, clamming, surfing, scuba diving & windsurfing. This park is convenient to many interesting areas along the shore, including Otter Crest & Devil`s Punchbowl. Meeting facilities available, call for more information.
