Campground: Ukiah-Dale Forest State Scenic Corridor
Description: This meandering park includes nearly 3000 acres of the canyons around Camas Creek & the North Fork of John Day River. The canyon bottom is forested with ponderosa pines, Douglas firs, & western larch. The campground is on the bank of Camas Creek. Springtime brings colorful wildlflower displays. Fishing in the river for trout, steelhead, & salmon. In late summer, visitors enjoy picking mushrooms & berries in the forest. 27 primitive campsites. Location: From Ukiah, go three miles south on US 395. Season: March - November. Reservations: no.
