| Description: In this case, the name comes from the first letters of three railroad tycoons (Villard,Once a railroad station, this park has been reclaimed for campers, picnickers, & windsurfers. Campsite has 58 RV sites with electrical hookup & 17 tent sites. Rangers hold interpretive programs on summer weekends. For a piece of history, hike a section of the Historic Columbia River Highway from Viento to Starving Creek which hasn`t seen auto traffic since the last Edsel came through 50 years ago.
