| Description: 6400 feet elevation. Accesses the Yamsay Mountain Semi-Primitive, Non-Motorized Area. Trailhead for the Fremont National Recreation Trail. The Fremont National Recreation Trail is continuous for a distance of 104 miles from Antler Trailhead to Cox Pass. Horse corrals & hitching rails are available.
Location: From Silver Lake District Office: Go * mile west on Highway 31, & turn left on County Road 4-11. This road turns into Forest Road 27. Take Forest Road 27 for nine miles, then turn right on Forest Road 2804. Go 2.5 miles to Forest Road 7645, turn left & travel five miles to Forest Road 036. Turn left & go approximately 2.3 miles to Forest Road 038. Turn right & drive another .6 miles to the trailhead.
