| Description: 1400-foot elevation. eight campsites along the South Umpqua River near the mouth of Boulder Creek. The campground offers shade & seclusion in a conifer forest.
Sights along the Myrtle Creek - Canyonville Historic Tour Route include a covered bridge built in 1920, several historic homes, & breathtaking forest views. The route also passes through the site of the 1986 Bland Mountain fire, which killed two people & consumed 10,000 acres.
Location: From I-5, take exit 98 & go 23 miles east on OR 227 (Tiller Trail Highway), then 14 miles northeast on County Road 46/ Forest Road 28 (South Umpqua Road).
