Description: 1300-foot elevation. five campsites on the South Umpqua River just above the mouth of Dumont Creek. Location: From I-5, take exit 98 & go 23 miles east on OR 227 (Tiller Trail Highway), then 11 miles northeast on County Road 46/ Forest Road 28 (South Umpqua Road). Season: May one - October 31. Fee: no. Reservations: NO. Available: Picnicking Scenic Driving Camping RV Sites Restrooms. Notes: Maximum RV length 40 feet. The South Umpqua is closed to trout fishing.
